Peter Driben was a classic pinup artist of the 40s and 50s whose output was staggering, even amongst a group of artists who were also wildly prolific. Driben's pinups delighted the american public from the beginning of World War II until the great baby boom of the 1950s. We love his bold color schemes and naughty, playful setups.

Peter Driben (b. 1903 - d. 1968) was a highly successful American pin up and glamor artist whose charmingly risqué illustrations were beloved by the American public from the beginning of WWII until the great baby boom of the 1950's. Although he is often overshadowed today by the likes of Alberto Vargas and Gil Elvgren, Driben's prolific output and popularity during his lifetime have firmly cemented him as one of the 20th century's great pin up artists, and his alluring creations continue to delight and titillate.
