Patrice Murciano was born May 27, 1969 in Belfort, and grew up in the South of France. At age 8, he began stealing his mother's makeup to draw portraits and female nudes. As a teenager, he was fascinated by the great masters, and practiced reproducing the masterpieces of Velasquez and Rembrandt. Today, Patrice still lives in the south of France, and describes himself as a "research artist" in constant search of new techniques and new styles...
