We had a great time with Amsterdam's Parra when he was in San Francisco preparing his mural installation at the SFMOMA, and we just caught wind of a new porcelain sculpture he is releasing with Belgium's Toykyo, the Jean Pierre Le Douche. The white glazed and black dotted porcelain sculpture, with gold color eyes, is made in a limited edition of 25 and sits at nearly 18" tall.

Last week, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art opened the new mural installation, Weirded Out, created site-specifically by Amsterdam artist, Parra. We caught up with Parra as the artist was finishing up the mural that stands on the museum's second landing, and discussed how his work has evolved since his March 2008 cover, working in black and white, and his first visit to SF.

Amsterdam-based artist Parra is working day and night on a mural installation at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, set to be properly unveiled next Saturday, March 31. We went to check up on the progress and preview the gigantic wall and catch up with a former Juxtapoz cover artist.

Parra and Mr. Boonstra worked together to animate this music video for Rimer London featuring South African singer Cata Pirata. It's great to see their characters come to life alongside Rimer London's synth-soaked, lively music. If you'd like, you can also be in the video, too.

Hypebeast just produced a new short on Amsterdam-based illustrator, designer, and fine artist, Parra. We had Parra design a custom, bubbling cover for us in March 2008, and we always keep up with what he has going with Rockwell, his fine art, or any other Parra project. The recent furniture endeavors have been some of our favorite pieces. Watch the short after the jump . . .

Our favorite Dutchman, Parra, has teamed with Toykyo to create "The Fly New Coffee Table." This looks like something you would find in an eccentric millionaire's house in 1985. This is the best part of Less Than Zero and Wall Street right here. And we like it. More images and detailed shots after the jump . . .
