If you want someone to come tidy your apartment, we think we have found your man in Michael Johansson, an artist who takes a real-life Tetris approach to both public and fine art. The artist has a knack of compartmentalizing the right objects into the right spaces to create incredible collages of no longer used goods in a colorful, eye-popping way. In the September issue of Juxtapoz Magazine we spoke with Oslo native Øivin Horvei as he and his 12-year-old daughter followed this wife to Boston where she took a position at Harvard's Graduate School of Education. Setting up a small studio in his new home, he continued his playful mixed media work and we spoke about the idiosyncratic Harvard bubble, parenting, and what, to an American, seems like an astonishing level of government support given to the average Norwegian.

Born in 1980 in Oslo, Norway, the artist and illustrator Sail currently lives and works on the top of a hill near the sea and tends to keep to himself. His dramatic, gestural illustrations are full of heavy contrasted emotion and some of his clients include Sprint, Random House and Soft Skull Press. Beautiful work.

Beautifully rendered illustrated 'Higher Ground' text from Sverre Malling. Drawn completely in graphite pencil, the illustrated letters of Malling are composed of decay, garbage, insects, paraphernalia and all things heavy metal. Sverre was born in 1977 in Oslo, Norway.

Oslo, Norway-based Henrick Uldalen is a young up-and-coming self-taught painter. His atmosphere and subject matter is often depicted as being in a limbo or dream-like state. Despite his realistic approach, photographic accuracy is not what he seeks to achieve.

Clever stuff. Oslo, Norway's Lars Marcus Vedeler and Theo Tveterås created a three-dimensional sculpture of the "win" screen on Windows Solitaire. It only took over 1,000 3D playing cards to make it happen... but it was worth it.
