Graffiti // Thursday, August 18, 2011
A product with a catchy name like “Gemeos Cakes” could actually succeed in a world of bland titles or a unique pancake recipe?

Who is your favorite artist of 2010?

Juxtapoz // Thursday, December 30, 2010
Another year gone, another year starting. We aren't Sports Illustrated or Rolling Stone where we rank our "Artist of the Year" or "Show of the Year," but we definitely have felt the energy and pulse of contemporary art in 2010, like you, our readers, and have a few ideas of who had major years in 2010. Was it JR and the TED Award? Dr Lakra showing at the Boston ICA? George Condo making an appearance in pop circles with the Kanye West covers and planned retrospective at New Museum? More after the jump . . .

There was some Super8 footage found recently of Herbert Baglione (Juxtapoz July 2009 cover) painting all night in the basement of Lazarides Gallery in London the night before his solo show opened in November of 2008. That was a big show for Herbert, as he introduced some fully-developed color pieces that added to his already signature black and white characters. Watch the video after the jump . . .

An ode to Dash Snow at Bowery and Houston

Juxtapoz // Tuesday, November 23, 2010
Cool to see that the late Dash "SACE" Snow has a tribute at the famous wall on the corner of Bowery and Houston that Deitch Projects used to rotate out with various international arists. We didn't know Dash personally, but we have friends that did, so we feel this is a nice ode to the man. Bigger picture after the jump . . .
