Os Gemeos x ARYZ: Completed Mural in Poland

Last week we posted photos of Aryz and Os Gemeos beginning a collaborative mural in Lodz, Poland for the Urban Forms Festival. This was the first time the three artists had worked on a wall together. While they have all spent a significant amount of time painting large walls on lifts around the world, expecting something magnificent was really not far fetched.

After recently exhibiting at the ICA in Boston and creating a magnificent mural that courted international media attention, Os Gemeos are now in Lodz, Poland where they have begun painting a collaborative wall with the young Spanish muralist, Aryz.

Os Gemeos have just recently unveiled a new mural on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway overlooking Dewey Square in Boston, a beautiful, playful piece really, that has sadly aroused a series of shallow-minded and bigoted responses online. In celebration of Brazilian twins, Os Gemeos, and their museum exhibition at the Boston ICA opening today and carrying through to November 25, 2012, we look back at one of two cover stories we have run with the two artists. This one dates back to July 2010, at a time where their installation work was becoming some of the most experimental and immersive in the world, and when their street work was as impactful as it had always been.
