Os Gemeos have always been synonymous with Brazil and the city of São Paulo. But it didn't even fully register until the twins painted the Brazilian National Football (Soccer) team's plane for the upcoming 2014 World Cup that the fact that they had become a national treasure was a reality. That is quite a big deal. There have been rumblings and clues that Os Gemeos have something big planned in the coming days/weeks, and we were lucky enough to get a visit to their studio a few months back to check in and say hello.

Os Gêmeos just finished painting the Brazilian national team's plane for the World Cup this year. The plane will take the team around the country this summer and to each of their games. The brothers will be opening a solo show at Galeria Fortes VIlaca on June 29th, 2014.

Every winter in San Francisco, the city's clubs are taken over by the great Noise Pop Festival, featuring an assortment of music acts, art activities, and cultural events. This year, Real Estate, No Age, Dr Dog, Fresh & Onlys, Mikal Cronin, Vetiver, Shabazz Palaces, Sun Kil Moon, and DJ Rashad are just a few of the musical acts. On Saturday, March 1, Juxtapoz and Noise Pop will hold the SF premier of "Grey City," a documentary on São Paulo, Brazil's influential graffiti history and controversial laws.

After already completing a magnificent new rooftop mural in San Francisco, the Brazilian art duo, Os Gemeos have teamed up with legendary artist, Mark Bode for an impressive collaboration of spray can talents. Painted not far from their first mural, this new piece occupies the back of the Warfield Theatre near 6th and Market St.
