Oh Ron, thank you for continuously injecting your Popaganda into our lives. Pop art legend and propaganda master, Ron English has invaded Los Angeles with witty billboards and signs. We saw this hilarious image on Boing Boing, and have to admit, it’s a good look for McCain. Who wouldn’t want a little campaign help from Mr English?

Last Thursday's bitter cold didn't stop the masses from attending Ron English's latest solo show, Big Picture Pop, at the Opera Gallery in New York City on November 29th. Fans and collectors mingled and marveled at the new works, which were nothing short of stunning. For those who missed the opening night, you can visit the gallery before the show closes on Decemeber 29th or the paintings can be viewed at Ron's website, www.popaganda.com. More...

Master Pop-Surrealist Ron English will be having a ginormous solo show, Big Picture Pop, opening this Friday, November 30th at Opera Gallery's NYC digs with a reception starting at 6pm. English's new work is very much a continuation of his pop sensibilities, colorful, satirical, and ripe with socio-political commentary. It's never a disappointment with him, so if you're in the area you should fight the bitter chill and make your way over. The show runs until December 20th; the perfect time for you wealthy jet-setters to get the gift of Marilyn Monroe with Mickey Mouse's face as her breasts. The gift that keeps giving.
