Opening Saturday evening , November 10, at Space 4 Art is a three-person show titled Jamais Vu, featuring one of our favorite San Diego-based painters Ernest Silva as well as Los Angeles based artists Michelle Carla Handel and Michael Arata. If you are not already familiar, Space 4 Art is an emerging art venue in San Diego that functions as a collective of studios as well as an exhibition space.

Curated by Medvin Sobio of 33third Los Angeles/Mid-City Arts, Catharsis represents the final act in a cycle of solo exhibitions Saner has been developing, where each one has looked to generate an emotional change over the spectator, guiding the viewer towards a path of rebirth, freedom & purification.

Revok has become somewhat of an ambassador to the arts revival in Detroit, spending time in the city and helping unite both local and national artists who have descended upon the city. Read More Books, The Reader, Booker, Bones, and more, recently opened a new exhibition entitled Read Up In a Down Economy at Ditch Projects in Springfield, Oregon. The elusive artist filled the space with a number of installations that included work on found objects such as news stands, wood palettes, corrugated metal, and even a trailer, most being shot up by a shotgun, accompanied with paintings and mixed media pieces.

For the third straight year, Spoke Art Gallery has turned their space into an homage to the fantastic filmmaker Wes Anderson. The show, which ran for two days this past weekend as a Halloween costume party, featured seventy-five painting, prints, and sculptures by an amazing group of talented artists who have come to admire the wacky and wonderful world that Anderson has created over the years.

Emerging from cross-continental social media correspondence that traded the boundaries of traditional language communications for imagery, Lolitas is a manipulated translation of photographs taken by a Parisian teenager.
