Friend of the mag, David Molesky, has an opening tonight, June 27, at a.Muse Gallery in San Francisco. It's either in Potrero Hill or Mission Creek... we can't tell. You may recognize Mr. Molesky from the feature he penned for us on Odd Nerdrum in our May 2013 issue.

In our May 2013 issue, Juxtapoz was honored to have the chance to speak with enigmatic Norwegian artist, Odd Nerdrum. Writer David Molesky finished the piece and headed to France for a special exhibition and open house that the Nerdrum Museum held at the artist's home in Maisons-Laffitte. The event also served as a release for a new book from the Nerdrum Museum called, "Crime and Refuge."

We kick of the Spring season (which bascially means sunnier coverage, or not, play with us here) with our May 2013 issue, featuring Kenny Scharf on our cover, with a special edition cover created by Camille Rose Garcia. Kenny's show at Paul Kasmin Gallery comes into our focus, as well as Garcia's exhibition at the Disney Family Museum. The issue rounded out by conversations with Spencer Tunick, ROA, Charlie Roberts, Oriol Angrill Jorda, Kazuki Takamatsu, Fulvio di Piazza, Odd Nerdrum, Thomas Campbell, Mark Ryden, and Bill Daniel.
