This insanely detailed painting of some sort of dissected cyborg animal was the result of Nychos and Smithe collaborating in Bushwick, Brooklyn. It was the first time these two had worked together and saying their styles compliment each other is surely an understatement.

Over the last month Nychos has been on a U.S. painting tour, creating staggering pieces in San Francisco, Detroit, Los Angeles and several new ones in New York in the past week. A giant Orca was the subject of his most recent anatomical dissection, painted on the side of Tutus restaurant in Brooklyn.

Nychos just completed a ferocious 6-story high tiger, with its bone structure exposed and body parts severed in San Francisco. This was the first time the Vienna-based artist has painted a mural in SF and he made sure it was loud and made a lasting impression. If you would like to go see it in person, head down to Geary St. between Jones and Taylor.

From his recent exhibition at Innerstate Gallery in Detroit, MI, Austria based artist Nychos melted some minds and hearts with his recent series of gore. Compiling his anatomic knowledge with sliced cross sections, x-ray peek-ins and detailed dissections “I’d Like To Meat You!” was a colorful exploration of new works on paper, canvas and wood highlighting Nychos’ skilled range across graffiti, illustration and street art.

Weird Crewmembers including Nychos, Dxtr, Cone, Hrvb, and Look, recently completed this mural welcoming visitors to the historical district of “Eastern Market” in Detroit. The posse painted several of their odd and highly animated characters, making for a packed wall of “Weirdos!”

While in Detroit for his show “I’d Like to Meat You!” at Innerstate Gallery, Nychos got busy on some walls, one of the most stand out being his collaboration with Pursue. Together, the two dissected and sectioned Pursue’s “BunnyKitty.” Both artists continually use bunnies in their work, so the two working together seems naturally fitting and it sows with this piece.
