This August 26 was the fifth annual national Go Topless Day. Ladies, gents, and the requisite ogling onlookers convened in Bryant Park to celebrate a woman's legal right to bare her breasts in public in NYC. Photographer Katie Sokoler was on the scene and took some shots of the lovely participants who showed a colorful variety of genders, ages, and cup sizes.

In her strangley shocking new show, 'Tots with Tats', Martina Secondo Russo presents a new series of life-sized tattooed babies. She cuts the figures out of plywood and paints the skin tones in acrylic. She then applies all kinds of "tattoos" with enamel markers. Most of the "tattoos" are drawn from Traditional American Flash, but she also uses Halloween decorations, found images, or her own drawings.

There is a major difference, or no difference at all, between Paris and New York City. According to artist Vahram Muratyan, the cities can be analyzed through a series of illustrations and graphic layouts, some funny, witty, and just plain excellent.

Legendary Pop Artist Kenny Scharf currently has a two-fold exhibition at Paul Kasmin Gallery in NYC. NATURAFUTURA features a new series of large-scale paintings inspired by the surroundings of Scharf’s coastal studio in Bahia, Brazil, and THREE DOZEN highlights Kenny's iconic donut paintings. Yes2, one of the subjects in our Tuff City Styles feature in our 2008 NYC Graffiti Issue, has a bunch of new works at Dirty Pilot right now. Pilot writes that Yes2 started painting in the streets in 1986, and has hit Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Canada throughout his career into the late 1990s. New York City-based photographer iO Tillett Wright posted her 90 Photos of 2010 as the year ended, and because we have always loved her black and white shots at night, we found some of our favorites to post her.
