In his series, I Miss You Already, photographer Shen Wei explores the intersections of identity, desire, nature and reflection. The series is composed of self portraits taken over several years and the scenery varies dramatically from image to image. At times, other subjects enter Wei’s aperture, but these characters are always peripheral to the work, which continues to burrow into the self.

DRISCOLL BABCOCK GALLERIES presents Jenny Morgan: How To Find A Ghost, Morgan’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. In this new body of work, Morgan pushes her transcendent figurative paintings to a larger scale, the pure magnitude of which amplifies the psychological intimacy of her work. Despite the immediacy of her figures, Morgan’s deep insights into her subjects emerge slowly over time; their blurred features, sanded outlines, and unique coloration push her portraits toward a revelatory abstraction.

Hannes Caspar is a fine art/portrait photographer based out of Berlin, Germany. We’re proud to showcase some of her organic female nude series, just a mere selection of the nudes that are contained in her extensive portfolio. There is an abstracted, vintage appeal within her photos, possibly due to the color or composition choices she makes.

"In his drawings The Embrace, from the series Dirty Dirty Love, Reuben Negrón allows his public to enter into one of the most private of realms, a couple’s intimacy. He bares his images naked of any superfluous detail, so that we can focus entirely on the hypnotizing silence of two bodies meeting."
