The Fall season is upon on us, and we are about to release our November 2013 issue with a very special story on a publishing house with a penchant for old-school pulp illustrations and print! Hard Case Crime is the cover story this month, a publisher of hardboiled crime fiction that emphasizes the use of an old style pulp art by hiring some of the best illustrators in the genre to do their covers. Michael Koelsch did this beautiful cover for an upcoming release of Borderline ... more on the November issue after the jump...

Here is a final look at some of the street works, murals, and beer tunnel installations that help complete the story of Nuart 2013 and our week in Stavanger, Norway. Aiko, David Choe, ROA, Faith47, and Vhils all had standout pieces, but we loved seeing the works and meeting DALeast, Martin Whatson, Strok, Dot Dot Dot, Ernest Zacharevic, and all the artists who put work up all week...

We believe it has been confirmed: Polish artist M-City is the first person ever to paint a mural on the control tower of a major international airport. For Nuart 2013, the artist was commissioned by Stavanger Airport (SOLA) in Norway to paint the tower, so when flights come in and out of the airport, the first thing they see is the industrial style of one of the world's leading muralists. Considering Stavanger is a city known for major oil business, we think this is a major coup for Nuart.

We are still settling back in after a week in Stavanger, Norway for the 2013 edition of the Nuart Festival, and we have a few more street pieces that were completed to showcase. DALeast, Faith 47, and C215 all had works around town, with DAL and Faith having massive murals right in the heart of the city center, and C215 had both a mural and a bunch of little stencil gems littered about the town.
