Issue Preview: July 2015 with Takashi Murakami

We think every issue we do at Juxtapoz is a special one, but the July 2015 has an extra bit of excitement behind it. We are proud to announce world-renowned fine artist and icon, Takashi Murakami, is the cover artist this month, with a special interview conducted with Murakami at this studios outside of Tokyo. We discuss his last show at Gagosian, his relationship with contemporary Japanese culture, and the era he has help change as a multi-dimensional artist.

Geoff McFetridge "Studies" zine by Nieves

Swiss-based publishing company Nieves curates some of the best printed material around, and they just released a new book/zine for California-based Geoff McFetridge entitled "Studies." The art in the book is based around Geoff's standout exhibition at V1 Gallery in Copenhagen last year, and showcases his now iconic, minimalist style.

Rizzoli and the Swiss publisher Nieves are set to release Ari Marcopoulos: Directory, a monumental limited edition phone-book-sized volume of photographs featuring 1200 of Marcopoulos’ most recent images.
