Anthony Lister is getting double coverage. For the first time since David Choe's double Laz/The Outsiders shows in 2008, Anthony Lister will do simultaneous shows at The Outsiders in London and Newcastle starting this November 16, 2012. We always enjoy the simple, clever, witty, and whatever complimentary adjective we can bestow on British illustrator Ian Stevenson, who loves to distort our collective pop-culture with a twist of wicked satire. His newest solo show, Made In Broken Britain, is currently on view at The Outsiders space in Newcastle, England.

One of our favorite street artists/interventionists is France's OakOak, who takes the most simple public property and transforms it into his own version of a video game. Cinder blocks turn into the Scream, doorsteps into piano keys, etc. OakOak is set to open a brand new exhibition on June 1, 2012, 892 Miles, at Lazarides' The Outsiders space in Newcastle, England.

We are always intrigued with what NYC-based artist BÄST is working on, and he has a solo show at The Outsiders in Newcastle, England that comes down this Saturday, October 15. The show continues his love for vintage airline promotional material. Wonder if he likes that new "Pan-Am" show?

San Francisco-based, German-born retro-futurist collage and illustrator, Mario Wagner, is set to open his first UK solo show, Cluster 10, at Lazarides Gallery's The Outsiders space in Newcastle, England. The show will feature "free-thinking and colourful retro-futurist scenes blighted by contemporary intruders, well-tailored men seemingly up to no good, made all the more intimidating and inhuman by their balaclavas."
