Illustrator and comic artist Joshua Boulet has a couple new pieces completed, and available for your wall if you feel so inclined. A coinciding show we have been looking forward to ever since we interviewed Australian artist Ashley Wood in our November 2011 issue: Wood and February 2012 cover artist, Jeremy Geddes, are set to open two solo shows at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC this Saturday, October 20. Geddes' Exhale and Wood's Machine Sabbath both have the Australian artists showing new works with a high anticipation throughout the art world.

Robert Irwin, the highly influential California artist and pioneer of the west coast light and space movement of the 1960s, will be exhibiting at both of Pace's gallery spaces in New York until the 20th of this month. His work is always a treat as it reinvents and reveals the spaces we inhabit and the often unnoticed qualities of architecture and light.

A fantastic series of surreal, scientific, fantasy paintings by New York City based artist Cane Dojcilovic. As part of explaining his process, Cane notes, "Million brush strokes, million graphite threads… Simplifying complicated artfulness, eliminating hollow sentimentality into synthetic void… Million thoughts, million absences of thoughts… Complicating simple yet again, fragmenting…"

Always one of our favorite events in NYC, Juxtapoz checked out the New York Art Book Fair last weekend at the Moma PS1 Museum. The event presented 283 international presses, booksellers, antiquarians, artists, and independent publishers from 26 countries, and is put on by the fantastic Printed Matter of NYC.
