A few months ago, David Choe (cover artist of both January 2006 and May 2010) was news all over the world; Facebook IPOs, Howard Stern, Barbara Walters, painting the new Facebook headquarters, and then... silence. Choe recently opened up his sketchbook and studio to show a few glimpses on some smaller works that he has been creating...

Another gorgeous piece, "Don't Let Me Go," from acclaimed artist Audrey Kawasaki. We love the delicate lines and muted colors in Audrey's erotically charged yet sweetly vulnerable work.

We showed a batch of Kris Lewis' paintings on the site a few months back, and there was a ton of enthusiasm on the new work. Tomorrow, May 20, at David B. Smith Gallery, Kris Lewis will unveil another new body of work, some of which we have after the jump.

Kehinde Wiley continues his World Stage series with a new exhibition opening at Roberts & Tilton in LA this Saturday, April 9, titled The World Stage: Israel. Wiley traveled to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to create the portraits in the series. More information after the jump . . .

John "CRASH" Matos, who we profiled in our new April 2011 Art In the Streets Issue, has a new solo show, Paintings With a Hidden Agenda, opening at Addict Galerie in Paris on March 25, 2011.
