We first saw the work of Neil Krug when he was putting together his 2011 Pulp Art Book: Volume One, a collection of expired Polaroids he shot with Joni Harbeck. Since then, he's created album covers and photoshots with the likes of Foals, Tame Impala, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Lana del Ray, Scissor Sisters, and many more!

Our friend and one-time-featured artist/photographer Neil Krug is no stranger to working in the music world, having shot Lana Del Rey and Bat For Lashes amongst others. We just saw that he is the man behind the new My Morning Jacket album cover (The Waterfall, due out soon), and it gave us the chance to look through some of the newer sun-drenched psychedelic splendor of Krug's recent work.

We have posted about Neil Krug's psychedelic-style photography a bunch before, and have had his work in our print edition. He tends to do these things... shoot album covers and promotional material for some of the best musicians of the moment. Lana Del Rey just released her second LP, Ultraviolence, and Neil shot the cover as well as a bunch of great shots surrounding the album.

Los Angeles-based photographer Neil Krug, who you have seen in our pages in the past, will have a book signing and photo exhibition at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood opening on April 4, 2013. Krug has been working on the Pulp Art Book series for a few years now, featuring model Joni Harbeck in various surreal, psychedelic, almost painterly scenes in the desert and beyond.
