We got the pleasure of visiting Titmouse Animation Studio's 9th annual Smashing party this past Saturday. Activities included, you guessed it, smashing TVs, computers, and statues in a large cage using sharp metal objects. Penthouse Pets body-painted by Neck Face and JJ Villard were also in attendance.

This past weekend in LA at New Image Art, Neckface opened a brand new show entitled "Drinking on the Job." That said, the show had a few references to drinking, and the process of making the show came down to this: "Each piece is imagined and drafted in an impaired state, in the field, sometimes with little to no recollection of his sullied genius until the scrawled upon napkin is found the morning after."

If there is anything you plan on doing this weekend in Los Angeles, make sure going to the opening of Nasty Neckface's new show, "Drinking on the Job," at New Image Art Gallery on Friday, August 22nd, 2014. If you are going to kick off a Fall season with a new show, you might as well go Neckface, go dirty, go raunchy, go funny, go ironic, and literally go drinking. According to New Image, "Working days and nights, the artist adhered to a strict creative process shrouded in the lighthearted but gloomy atmosphere akin to bars and pubs." There you go.

Neckface and Isaiah Seret just released a trailer for the new action-horror-ninja-super villain Neckface short film, "Born Under a Bad Sign," that was made in the artist's installation at MOCA's "Art In the Streets." From the looks of this trailer, it looks pretty well-made, considering it spoofs action-horror-ninja-super villain movies.
