Friend of Juxtapoz magazine, and former cover artist from September 2011, Neck Face, has just created a capsule collection with Nike SB that features a snapback hat, Blazer series, t-shirts, and backpack. With Neck Face having obvious ties in the skate world, its nice to see a simple logo treatment and some of the cleanest Blazers you will ever get. Look for the collection now... 

This past weekend we stopped by New Image Art for the opening reception of their latest group exhibition, California Photography Now. The show featured the works of Jerry Hsu, Todd Jordan, Kevin “Spanky” Long, Jen “JR” Reynolds, Curits Buchanan, Tino Razo, Neck Face, Sagan Lockhart, Gregory Bojorquez, Sandy Kim , Teen Witch and Retna.

This past Friday the 13th, bad luck was celebrated at Neck Face’s Simply The Worst opening at New Image Gallery in Los Angeles, Calif. Art collectors, graffiti enthusiasts, and the elite of skateboarding showed up to support Neckface. The respect is mutual, as Neck Face says, "Those are my people, they know who I am and I know who they are. We all come from the gutter."

Seems quite appropriate for Friday the 13th. September 2011 cover artist, Neck Face, is opening a new print release show, Simply the Worst, at New Image Art Gallery in Los Angeles. Costumes accepted, and free booze. And a message from Neck Face: "If I'm throwing it you know it's gonna be fun." Ah, it's one of those kind of parties... dig it.

Juxtapoz Presents OTW.tv's final Neck Face part, where the artists is less than bashful. "Yeah, it's kinda cool when you write something jacked or write something crazy and then put your name next to it, and people come up to you later, like, 'Damn, you're kinda fucked up—somethin's wrong which you!' But I'll claim the fuck out of it."

Juxtapoz #128 cover artist, Ol Nasty Neck Face himself, dirties Vans' lens in Episode 4 of Juxtapoz Presents OTW.tv's focus on Neck Face. The artist and human gremlin take us down memory lane in Part 1 with a twisted tale of a rat fight gone completley right. Per the opening scene "Warning!" this episode contains content you'll either find utterly offensive, or completely amusing. Use your best judgment and proceed ahead.

Based in NYC, Neck Face is an artist who manages to imbue humor into violence, locate amusement in horror, and take pleasure in rattling nerves. His work is simultaneously sinister and grim, genuine and playful, toying with the sacrilegious, antagonizing phobias, and triggering insecurities, all with a measure of ambivalence. His distinctive style straddles the line between reckless and deliberate, yet always maintains a sense of immediacy.

Last night we attended the opening of 2 Of Amerikas Most Wanted, featuring new works from artists Neck Face and Fuck This Life at New Image Art. Following are a few images from the opening reception.
