N8 Van Dyke is no stranger to Juxtapoz, seeing as he is (I think) the only artist to employ a chimp to accompany him for his portrait shoot when he was featured in the magazine. He's also no stranger to being so simultaneously in control and sporadic with ink that it's almost inhuman. And by ALMOST, I mean he's pretty much untouchable.

Day 2 of Juxtapoz at Outside Lands was another great one, with more great performances from Mike Shine, live painting from Skinner, Sam Flores, N8 Van Dyke, Curve, Diet, and, of course, music from Metallica, Sigur Ros, Grandaddy, Big Boi, The Kills, Portugal the Man, and Explosions in the Sky. We just got back from Day 1 of Outside Lands Music Festival, where we have curated the art portion of this year's event, and have a few pictures from the evening. Skinner, Sam Flores, and N8 Van Dyke were painting all evening, Nick Kuszyk's tunnel pieces were great, Jeremy Fish's banners were huge, and Big Boi's DJ went to the wrong stage.

As we gear up for the Square Enix Deus Ex: Human Revolution contemporary art show this week, we bring you two unreleased images from the show: original works by N8 Van Dyke (after the jump) and Jorge Alderete (above)  inspired by the futuristic storyline of DE: HR, which hits shelves for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation video game and entertainment systems on August 23.
