There is a little bit of everything in the works of Rich Kelly. You have music posters, movie posters, television program illustrations, and straight gallery works all from one hand (or two hands). Kelly has made work for Bonnie Prince Billy, Breaking Bad, Planet of the Apes, R Kelly, The Tallest Man on Earth, and other musicians and entertainers. He is trying not to break things.

We have written on the site before about how big of fans we are of the drawings of Moonassi, aka Daehyun Kim, and we ran across the new album cover the artist created for the band Reedbeds and their album Basement Grotto. The Man, you'll most likely want to migrate up north into the ice in hopes of absorbing some of the unbridled inspiration that John has that makes his work so original, unique, and (much like the Alaskan weather), refreshing.

After our partnership with Outside Lands over the summer Juxtapoz was lucky enough to be invited to partner with Treasure Island Music Festival. After a light breakfast we headed to Civic Center to take the free shuttle, yes free, out to the island, a quick 10 - 15 minute ride across the Bay Bridge to enter the festival and see the likes of Public Enemy, The xx, Grimes, Ty Segall, Matthew Dear, Youth Lagoon, M83, and others.
