Hiro Murai has emerged as one of the best music video creators over the last couple of years. The go-to director for some of our favorite artists including Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt, Shabazz Palaces, and Spoon, Murai is behind Childish Gambino's latest video, "Sober" off his Kauai EP.

Flying Lotus has released another video from his incredible new EP You're Dead! Directed by LA-based Young Replicant, who has also made videos for Lorde, The XX, Bonobo, and Purity Ring among others, "Coronus, The Terminator" follows a dying man out of the physical world, past his mourning family and into a strange purgatory-like existence led by dusty white characters including Flying Lotus himself.. A fantastic follow up to Hiro Murai's video for "Never Catch Me" featuring Kendrick Lamar off the same album.

About 7 months ago, we already were in a bit of a rush to announce the MoMA's newly planned retrospective on the visual art and musical career of Bjork. Now it all is starting to make sense. Not only does the MoMA open Bjork on March 8, 2015, the Icelandic artist will release her new full length LP, Vulnicura, sometime in March 2015 as well. What do we know of the album? Venezuelan producer Arca worked on it (he worked with Kanye West on Yeezus and FKA twigs, so that is a good sign). The Haxan Cloak also contributed to Vulnicura.

We've been fans of Shabazz Palaces for a while now and they've always done a fantastic job seeking out the best talent to do their music videos. Their latest is no exception. Directed by musician, animator, and label mate Chad VanGaalen, "Forerunner Foray" (off their latest album Le Majesty) is a surreal, psychedelic animated time-travelling, pizza-surfing adventure through space.

Butter Ya'Self is a new track featuring a banana (Nana Splits) and bread roll (ButterKrust) letting us know how much tastier they are. "We on a roll. Bitch, I am a roll. Getting hot and heavy in the oven like a casserole. Making bread. Shit, I'm made of bread. And these fruits and veggies all faker than Potato Head." You need to watch it.

Spoon's 2014 LP "They Want My Soul" was on constant rotation in the Juxtapoz office almost all of the latter half of 2014, and will go down (along with Pinata, Black Messiah, Our Love, Here and Nowhere Else, I Never Learn) as one of our favorites of the year. We spoke with Spoon's Britt Daniel about the band's visual career in the print mag, and for the track "Do You" they teamed with the great Hiro Murai on this video.

Nabil has been making some of the best cinematic music videos of the past few years, so we already knew the artistry that he brought to the table. But we would be lying if we didn't say that FKA twigs didn't grow on us this year, and this "Two Weeks" video is a spectacular and dark vision of a goddess or Egytpian Queen of the Future. Whatever it is, the sexually charged lyrics and stunning visuals made this an instant masterstroke.

There was a lot to like about music videos in 2014, and though there is a ton of good stuff out there at the moment, the combination of Caribou's standout "Our Love" track and some creepy short film about aging and young was one of our favorites. Enjoy.

Panda Bear has definitely been focusing on some great music video work. We loved the "Mr Noah" video we posted a few weeks ago, but this new animated, psychedelic adventure for the track "Boys Latin" directed by Isaiah Saxon and Sean Hellfritsch from Encyclopedia Pictura is our favorite to date.

Todd "REAS" James is a 2x Juxtapoz cover artist, with the NYC artist most recently on the cover in December 2013. From his Pirate series, to MASH-style pin-ups, and his career in graffiti and tv shows like Crank Yankers, James is one of the true representatives of what this magazine stands for. So it's pretty cool to us that we get to be the exclusive premiere of James's music video work for U2's new track, "The Troubles." Big band, big artist.
