Roa paints a Narwhal Örebro, Sweden

The large mythical narwhal is the subject of Roa’s most recent mural in Örebro, Sweden for the OpenART 2013. Its fin appears to be snagged by a hook with the rope wrapped around its tale. The Inuit people have been harvesting narwals for over a thousand years for meat and Ivory which still continues to this day under certain hunting regualtaions.

For the fifth annual Open Art Festival in Örebro, Sweden, Mexican artist, Sego, painted a wall with his highly detailed animals set to a minimal background. The piece entitled “Underworld,” displays both styles of the artist, one being the use of organic forms.

David Choe paints in Denver
