Saner “El Cenit Del Venado" @ Fifty24MX Gallery, Mexico City

Over the weekend, Saner opened his newest exhibition “El Cenit Del Venado" at Fifty24MX Gallery in Mexico City. This new body of work consisted of acrylic paintings, ink drawings and sculptures, all presented in a dim lit setting. Saner wrote about the exhibition saying, “The zenith refers to the time when the sun and the moon aligns in the sky above us, and it´s used as a metaphor of those instants where the human being is able to get out of the daily routine and be present, being able to connect with the Great Spirit.”

Mark Jenkins and Positive Propaganda play Tic-Tac-Toe

A large game of Tic-Tac-Toe is being painted on the side of a Welfare building in Munich, Germany. The two players participating are artist Mark Jenkins and the socio-political arts group, Positive Propaganda. Jenkins created one his signature characters out of tape that can be seen leaning over on the roof to mark the “X” for a win.

M-City paints the Sandnes Science museum

The Science Museum in Sandes, Norway recently enlisted the artist to paint something in the interior of their building and M-City delivered something great.

This years Wonderwalls Festival in Wollongong, Australia had a solid lineup, which included local Sydney artists, Shida and Adnate. The two collaborated on a black-bricked wall with Adnate painting the hyperrealist portrait of a woman, while Shida contributed the sharp and colorful geometric shapes.

"Mark's House" in Flint, Michigan

A 28-foot-tall tudor-style structure with reflective mylar has been built in a downtown parking lot of Flint, Michigan by architect William Villalobos with colleagues Cesc Massanas and Tomas Selva. Mark’s House pays tribute to the causes of the difficult housing market that has brought foreclosure to an overwhelming amount of homes in Flint. "People don't only lose a house; they lose a bunch of memories that are recorded in the back of their brains that are attached to something physical," says William Villalobos. To reach out past their own local community and connect globally, the underside of the structure contains photos of Kickstarter supporters who helped this project materialize. 

Roa in Panama City
