Last weekend, Yo<3 305 presented a group exhibition entitled “Friends and Family” in the Wynwood District of Miami during the madness that is Art Basel. The participating artists who were all friends previous to the exhibition, created a cohesive body of minimalist, predominately colorless, paintings and one striking centerpiece canoe with accompanying mirrors by Never 2501. 

"Rabbit-Banana-Rabbit" and "Professional Painter" by Escif

Two need walls each very different from the other by Escif in his hometown of Valencia, Spain. The first wall is the odd image of a bunny between two bananas and the second an advertisement for a professional painter.

New BLU mural in Santiago, Chile

Participating in the Hecho En Casa Street Art Festival in Santiago, Chile, Blu painted the following piece in a large man-made drain. Charged by opposition to man’s persistence to destroy nature, Blu painted this piece to raise awareness and to protest the HidroAysén megaproject. If carried out, the project will consist of five hydroelectric plants in Chile’s Aysen Region, two on the Baker River and three on the Pascua River. 

Reka x Rone in Miami

During Art Basel in Miami, one of the several walls Australian artists, Reka and Rone, painted was this monochrome collaboration that primarily focused on eyes. Reka painted in his character in a highly animated style, while Rone dropped a hyperrealist piece. Side by side these two styles couldn’t be more different, but work together so well.

“Neuralgic Point” is the title to this new abstract minimalist painting by Elian in the streets of Córdoba, Argentina. The artist’s subtle gestures and thoughtful use of color create a calming ambiance for passer-bys.

" Stop Violence Against Woman" by Hyuro in Formia, Italy

Hyuro has painted the powerful image of a group of women holding a large sheet with tallies on it. The image was painted by the Spanish artist to raise awareness of the issue of violence against women. The United Nations General Assembly designated November 25 as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which was the time this was painted around a few weeks back.

Two new walls by Franco Fasoli aka Jaz

Franco Fasoli aka Jaz, has painted two new walls in two different countries. The first one with red horses was painted on the side of busy street in Cordoba, Argentina. The second with the big cats was painted in Wynwood, Miami during Art Basel.

When is that last time you saw Escif paint with color? The answer is obvious. In like forever, mannn. His new piece, “Uranio” came with a quote from the Spanish poet,León Felipe and the words “Destroying Miro.” Switching thins up and keeping it fresh.
