Lisbon-based, London-residing artist, Vhils, newest solo exhibition entitled “Entropy” opened last weekend at Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris. The artist is most recognized for his walls that are chiseled and layered portraits resembling excavated artifact. Expanding his practice, his new body of work explores portraits in a variety of techniques such as carved Styrofoam and wood, acid etched metal, laser cut posters, and ink and bleach on paper.

New Shepard Fairey x Obey Mural in Paris

Juxtapoz collaborator Butterfly was recently involved in organizing Shepard Fairey and the Obey team's new mural on a 14-story building in Paris, working with Galerie Itinerrance, Mairie of 13th district, and the local community on a project called Street Art 13, where they are taking world renowned artists to help regenerate the neighborhood.

Phlegm In Bantry, Ireland

These two newest pieces painted in West Cork, Ireland depict a salmon-submarine being navigated by the artist’s signature characters and a guy standing on top of a city that he could possibly be panning?

Remed has a way with mixing styles from past and present, and when he paints a mural there is no confusion to who is responsible.  Not one to cover an entire wall in paint, his minimalist approach is just as effective.  He recently created the following mural in San Benedetto, Italy using acrylic on concrete blocks.  Be on the lookout for an upcoming feature with Remed in out printed magazine.

3D Pac-Man Ground Painting

Inspired by the classic arcade video game Pac-Man from the 80s, Leon Keer created the following 3D painting on the sidewalk in Venlo, Netherlands.  Come to think of it, it’s been a while since we happened upon a sit down Pac-Man machine, always conducive with a slice of pizza and some friendly competition.
