Brooklyn-based graffiti writer, Vizie, will be opening his very first solo exhibition tomorrow, March 5 at & Associates in New York. “Greater Than the Sum” will display over a dozen works from the 18-year veteran of graffiti.

Sever has cleverly depicted a fictionalized scene where the iconic graffiti writer from the Bronx, Stay High 149 (in the yellow sweater) and his crew examine the work of the L.A. innovator “Chaz”, the Godfather of Chicano graffiti. As Sever says of this piece, “Homage is offered to these legendary writers, to the early era of graffiti’s spectacular rise, and to the processes they developed and were allied with.
