Joey Colombo is an Oakland, CA-based artist who recently started a currency collage series called "This is your GOD." Taking read bill from around the world, Colombo started cutting them up and collaging them together. His newest piece, which dropped on 9/11, is titled "Blood Money" and uses an Iraqi 10,000 Dinar as a base and pieces cut from US and Australian bills.

The Avant/Garde Diaries has done it again with a fantastic video that artistically documents the money portraits of Mark Wagner. The artist is masterful at arranging and re-arranging American dollars into elaborate portraits of politicians and famous works of art... this video does his work justice.

Well, you don't see this everyday. Artist Jacqueline Lou Skaggs has taken discarded pennies (well, every penny gets discarded, doesn't it?) and painted the smallest of portraits, landscapes, and figurative paintings on the smallest of surfaces. Can't imagine you need a lot of oils for this.

Chad Person has made a bit of a career causing controversy and ruffling a few feathers with his political artwork, and here he has completed a series of collages created by rearranging US currency into the shapes of war machines. That tank is quite a great composition.
