MOMO has been one of our favorite muralists in recent years, and we love the abstraction he has brought into the gallery and out onto walls. He just opened a new body of work, "There Are No Wheels in Nature," at Winterlong Galerie in Niort, France. For the show, MOMO created canvases, drawings, did a mural, an installation, a video, and a zine. Take a look at how the mural and installation shots came out...

How can we not get jealous of Momo when looking at this picture of his new mural in Tulum, Mexico and we can see snow from our window? Momo is currently enjoying the white sand beaches, a warm sun, pastor tacos and an artist residency called “Residencia Gorila.” This little tropical oasis just got that much better with the help of this beautiful new piece.

And just so you don't start laughing, "Butt Joints describes the method of marrying plywood together that will help us build something large yet simple within May’s space..."

During the mural madness that is Wynwood Walls, Momo painted this easy-on-the-eyes abstract piece. Simple, non-intrusive, and blends into the environment.

Originally from San Francisco, now based in Brooklyn, Momo, is constantly traveling domestically and internationally to add his minimalist art to cities landscapes. His most recent endeavor was in Chicago, where he team up with Pawn Works Gallery to paint a simple designed mural.
