She's a filmmaker, actress, artist, writer, etc. and her new app, Somebody, just debuted at the Venice Film Festival along with an awkwardly sweet short film about it. Here's how the app works: "When you send your friend a message through Somebody, it goes—not to your friend—but to the Somebody user nearest your friend...

"We Think Alone": A project by Miranda July w/ Magasin 3, Stockholm

Former Juxtapoz featured artist and acclaimed writer/filmmaker/conceptual artist, Miranda July, has been commissioned by Magasin 3 of Stockholm for the exhibition On The Tip of My Tongue, where July has taken the emails of some celebrities and friends and will present museum visitors with a themed compendium of 10 emails. We Think Alone is a project that only exists in your inbox, and will happen every Monday from July 1 to November 11, 2013.

In a weird way, this issue began on the shores of Norway and ended in a desert in Tucson, Arizona, and found itself in the SFMoMA and in a studio in Miami, Florida.
