Friend of the family and Amsterdam-based Parra will be opening a new solo show, Il Senso di Colpa (The Guilt), at Galleria Patricia Armocida in Milan, Italy on May 27, 2013. The exhibit consists in seven medium-sized canvases, ten watercolors, four black and white drawings as well as two sculptures.

This morning we bring you some more finger paintings and a process video from Milan-based artist Troilo. Troilo tries to express the uncomfortable condition of being trapped in a void where the rules of society don't apply. There are no dresses, colors, or objects, and we are liberated from useless accessories. His style developed one day, when attempting to translate his drawings into paintings. He found himself using his fingers when he couldn't find any brushes.

Teenage Machine Age, Ryan Heshka’s second solo show at Antonio Colombo Arte Contemporanea (Milan, Italy), picks up where last year's show (”OURS”) left off.  Expanding both the size of the pieces and mediums used, Heshka continues his exploration of dreamy scenes and hazy fictional memories, mixing in vague hints of universal themes. 

Milan-based photographer Hugh Findletar presented his exhibition Flower Heads at Heimat store in Cologne this January. The pieces were created in collaboration with Oscar Zanetti, a Master glass blower.

Galleria Patricia Armocida will be presenting the first solo exhibition in Milan by Marco Mazzoni entitled Il Ricordo è Un Consolatore Molesto (Memory is a Bothersome Consoler) on Tuesday, February 19 at 7:00 PM. Mazzoni, a genius of detail, uses colored pencils to create an intricate chiaroscuro overlapping light and dark for an intense and profound glow.

Alessandro Barbucci began his comic career at the age of 18. The early part of his career consisted of creating nearly 1200 pages for Disney Editions. During 1997-1998 Barbucci shared his skills on teaching comic technique at the Accademia Disney in Milan. The piece is a floating structure composed of three levels of clear film that can be accessed by the public.

Tim Biskup's exhibition of new paintings opens this Thursday at Antonio Colombo Arte Contemporanea in Milan, Italy. The new body of work began with a series of abstract drawings created in a burst of creative energy. The urge to loosen up came after a visit to MoMA NYC for the William de Kooning retrospective as well as in reaction to the rigid complexity of the work for his Former State exhibition at THIS Gallery in Los Angeles nearly a year ago.

The house was constructed by Milan based design firm, Santambrogio, and is built throughout with a blue hued glass.
