Mike Mitchell is an artist based in Los Angeles. His awesome series of digital portraits of characters from awesome movies are simply awesome. Mitchell puts his talent for capturing likeness with style and dynamism to great use in these colorful homages to cinematic greats, including but not limited to David Bowie in The Man Who Fell to Earth, Winona Ryder in Heathers, Uma Thurman in Kill Bill, Ryan Gosling in Drive, Min-Sik Choi in Oldboy and Will Ferrell in Zoolander. Mitchell has a wife named Lauren, one normal cat, one cross-eyed cat, a dog who isn't normal but does have great vision. Check out the entire series, it's a whole lot of fun.

A humorous and repetitive take on the super-hero, morphed into some unsuspecting characters by illustrator and designer Mike Mitchell. The whole Super collection can be seen on his website, along with a whole mess of other great work. Mike lives and works in Los Angeles with his wife Lauren, three cats, and a dog.

Mike Mitchell is an artist in Los Angeles. He has a wife Lauren, three cats, and a dog. He thinks high fives are pretty cool and has a pretty great, humorous collection of illustrations ranging from fat birds to intricate repetitive patterns of some of your favorite icons and characters, in the form of round children. Loving his illustrated pattern work.
