A solid staple in San Francisco's art scene, Mike Giant's clean, black and white illustrations can be seen gracing everything from skin to walls, paper and tattoo flash. FFDG is pleased to present San Francisco based artist Mike Giant in his first highly anticipated solo show with the gallery entitled "Confessions of an Old Dirty Skateboarder" featuring a wide assemblage of recent drawings and also a rare opportunity to view Giant's personal collection of skateboards he illustrated the graphics for. Giant has achieved fame as a graffiti artist, illustrator and tattooist.

Mike Giant is infinitely known for his black and white illustrated portraits of tattooed beauties, his work with Rebel8 and his drawn photo-collaborations, depicting elaborate tattoos onto the models in the photos as well. An avid illustrator, tattooer and artist, the work of San Francisco based Mike Giant is difficult to surpass.

A staple San Francisco based, New Mexico bred, tattoo artist and illustrator, Mike Giant- has a signature style that is easily recognized, consistently sharp and and one of those things people are always trying to duplicate and replicate (you know who you are...) According to Mike, "All the works in the show are based around my search for a new girlfriend. And those works will be on display tonight, May 19, at Pretty Pretty Collective in San Francisco, feautruring all new works written out in sentence form. Like Sir Mix-A-Lot lyrics.

This Saturday, March 24. Copro Gallery in Santa Monica will be opening our 18th Birthday exhibition, Juxtapoz Turns 18.
