Mazzarella Thomas' work reminds us a bit of Chris Johanson, with its own twist. Thomas' paintings use a very voyeuristic perspective in which we seem to be peeking into the lives of his little characters. We observe business proceedings, artists tediously ruminating over paintings, odd urban landscapes, bedroom push-ups . . .
