Paper Cities by Matthew Picton

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, January 11, 2012
Matthew Picton creates aerial viewed paper sculpture maps of various international cities and specific historical moments, using books pages or film stills that represent that given moment that defines the city. For instance, he created an aerial view of Dallas with film stills that show JFK's route the day he was assassinated. Picton has an exhibition at Christopher Henry Gallery in Manhattan through January 29, 2012.
