Mario Hugo is a New York based creative director (Hugo and Marie), designer, and illustrator. Though he spends a large amount of time in front of his computer, Mario is still most interested in the traditional approach to creating, including a pencil and two or more sheets of paper.

Working the commercial field for such brands and publications as Stella McCartney, Surface to Air, United Bamboo, and The Fader, we love how Mario Hugo has taken an almost Moleskine style and turned it into graphic art and design. And as he mentions on his site, "I'm available for commissions and collaborations during the daytime, but my nighttime is reserved for artworks, children's books, and dreaming."
