Coinciding with Todd James' opening at Cooper Cole Gallery this past weekend, Marc Bell opened a new series of works called No Jabronis. Amazing name. From the looks of it, Bell has 4 intricate, amazingly detailed illustrations that look like one book narrative book on paper. We grabbed some of the detailed shots as well as the larger looks at these 18" x 24" ink on paper drawings... get studying kids...

Cooper Cole in Toronto is hosting a great line-up in the group exhibition, Zagga Zow, now on display through August 20, 2012. Cooper Cole went into the deep trenches of the urban dictionary to find out what Zagga Zow means, and they came up with "A word with literally no definition." In the meantime, Matt Leines, Larissa Bates, Devin Troy Strother, Marc Bell, Charlie Roberts, John Riepenhoff, James Kirkpatrick, Anders Oinonen, and Sara Clendering are all showcased.

Marc Bell will soon be showing in the group show Zagga Zow at Cooper Cole Gallery in Toronto, and we thought this was as good time as any to show a few works from one of our favorite illustrators/comic/cartoonists/artists. Apart from creating the comic Shrimpy and Paul, his monograph Hot Potatoe is a must have, and the Canadian artist has been featured in various publications such as Kramers Ergot and The Ganzfeld.
