Lush sent over a few exclusive samples of work for his upcoming show “Shitty Drawings in New York City” at Klughaus Gallery in New York. Opening this Saturday, August 25 the show will feature the artist's “witty illustrations” that “take the piss out” of his graffiti roots. A limited edition zine will be available at the opening as will something offensive, believe that.

“Shitty Drawings in New York City” is the Australian so-called "graffiti artist" Lush’s debut solo exhibition at Klughaus Gallery in New York. Opening Saturday, August 25 the show will feature the artist's “witty illustrations” that “take the piss out” of his graffiti roots. A limited edition zine will be available at the opening as will something offensive, that we are sure of.

What has Lush been up to lately you ask? Well, he has been painting female body parts in a crude context, dolphins shooting laser beams at dinosaurs, and kittens the subject of target practice. Offensive enough for you? We have a feeling he’s just getting started.

Satan’s threats and demands on one wall, AK-47 totting dolphins and bazooka wielding dinosaurs on another. Duel guns in the mouth? Lush has been busy, very busy, painting all things offensive and borderline retarded. And we like it.

Lush’s newest work could possibly be some of the most offensive and crude graffiti we have ever seen. f your sitting at work and want to continue coming to work after today, we suggest you wait until home to look at these pictures.

When the word “street art” is spoken, Lush imagines a purple speedo wearing, green mohawed rollerblader painting a rainbow. We would love to see said “Street artist” in action, anywhere.

We became fast friends with Melbourne's graffiti provocateur LUSH last year when he came to San Francisco for an exhibition at FIFTY24SF Gallery, and turned the gallery into strip show. All the things you hear about LUSH is that he pisses a ton of people off, and that he does so for some sort of Internet fame. Well, what's wrong with that? It's 2012, how else do you get famous? LUSH will be opening up shop in London on July 5 with a large warehouse show that will surely cause some angry comments here. That means this is all working...

Lush takes a moment wondering how it feels to be in the shoes of a property owner after an attack of vandalism! Tears lots of tears.

Lush is always there to give you a little chuckle throughout the day or completely offend those who take graffiti to seriously.
