For the past 3 years, as the art world has descended upon London for the Frieze Art Fair, Lazarides Gallery has descended below the city streets to put on Bedlam, in our opinion one of the best exhibitions a non-fair can offer in a during a heavily Art Fair environment. For the third and final year, Bedlam is being held in the Old Vic Tunnels, and we went to investigate.

For the thrid and final year, Lazarides Gallery in London is set to take over the Old Vic Tunnels underneath Waterloo Station with the exhibition, Bedlam. The interactive, site-specific installation coincides with the Frieze Art Fair, for what we like to call a significant, if not alternative way to see art as opposed to a big hall with booths. This you may see a rat... the show opens October 9.

The Juxtapoz staff was unable to join the festivities at FAME Festival this year, but we had Jux friend Henrik Haven checking out the new murals in Grottaglie, Italy last week. Conor Harrington, Lucy McLauchlan, Ericailcane, Vhils, Boris Hoppek, Cyop e Kaf, and many others added to the town this year, with some of the strongest edition yet of FAME.

Clocks slay time. That is a great line. Why I'm thinking about The Sound and the Fury at noon on a Friday, while watching Matt Watkins' wonderfully quiet and subtle short documentary on Lucy McLauchlan creating various art objects at FAME Festival, I actually have no idea. Except, this is definitely one of the better 4 minutes you will spend today, and has an overall message that will resonate; You. Must. Create. (Sorry YMC, but you copyrighted a good sentiment). Digression done, watch.

Friend of the magazine with work featured in our May 2012 Public Art Issue, Lucy McLauchlan has a super exclusive (and when we say super exclusive, we mean in an edition of 1 sort of super exclusivity) new three-color screenprint available through Lazarides' The Outsiders print shop. Eyes of Wapping features hand painted brush marks on Heritage Rag 300gsm paper, signed by the artist.

Late in the afternoon, Herbert Baglione, Juxtapoz and the McLauchlan crew headed out to the Obrestad Lighthouse, west of Stavanger, for the opening celebration of Lucy McLauchlan's mural on the heritage-site. In short, the experience was out of a Viking movie, with an amazing fog bank and rural environment.

As we learn to love Stavanger, Norway and Nuart more and more, Day 3 saw many of the artists move from indoors to outdoors. Herbert Baglione, David Choe, DVS-1, and Herakut were finishing indoor walls, and Escif, Hyuro, Lucy McLauchlan, Phlegm, and Tellas were all working on city walls. And, Juxtapoz went on a fjord cruise....
