Juxtapoz // Wednesday, February 25, 2009
New paintings, drawings, and sculpture by one of our all-time favorite artists, Camille Rose Garcia, (Juxtapoz cover #62) will soon be on display at the SCOPE Contemporary Art Fair, as shown by Jonathan LeVine Gallery.
Camille’s amazing works will be part of a site-specific installation, including custom wallpaper, designed by the artist herself. The Fair will run from March 5—8th, 2009 at Lincoln Center in New York.
Jonathan LeVine Gallery will also be putting together a special lecture and panel discussion on Sunday March 8th, during the fair, featuring a select group of artists and art world professionals on the topic of Street Art, called: Private Property, Public Ideas: Street Art in Transition. There will be a screening of the Global Graffiti documentary film Bomb-It! followed by a panel discussion.
