The tightly painted, skate-inspired work of the Low Bros deck the walls of their first LA solo show at Thinkspace gallery. With special guests Nychos, Woes Martin, and Jeff Soto in attendance. Take a look at the photos from last Saturday evening.

We are hyped to see our friends (and past featured artists) Low Bros get a solo show at Thinkspace in Culver City that opens this weekend, June 20, 2015. The Low Bros have been such staples in both the mural/street art scene as well as creating these awesomely nostaglic artworks that almost make them seem like they are SoCal kids. No, this is a German-based duo, and it looks like they knocked it out of the park again.

El-P and Killer Mike just dropped their highly anticipated new album "Run the Jewels 2" and as part of the launch the group invited over 30 artists across 6 continents to remix the iconic album cover art by Nick Gazin of two opposing hands, one forming a gun, the other holding a chain. Here is Berlin-based Low Bros (featured in our October 2013 issue) version!

Low Bros, who were featured in our October 2013 issue, recently painted a world cup-inspired mural at Urban Spree in Berlin featuring cheetahs crouching around a soccer stadium and some favelas. Watch a video after the jump...

We love the nostalgic vibe of a Low Bros paintings or mural, and chronicled their work in our print edition in October 2013. With "Menace Beach Pt.2" the Low Bros are going back to their hometown of Hamburg, to create an extension of the first Menace Beach show that took place in Berlin last year. Annoyed by the brand heavy skateboard scene that exists today, the Bros are inviting you to celebrate the spirit of true skateboarding and show what skating means to them.

Look! It's almost the new year, and we have been counting down the days with some of our favorite features from the 2013 print editions of Juxtapoz. Today, we look at Berlin-based fine artists and muralists the Low Bros, who consistently have been adding a bit of late 1980s, early '90s style and flair to both the streets and the gallery scene. This feature first appeared in Juxtapoz in the October 2013 edition.

Participating in the City Leaks Festival in Cologne, Germany, the art collective duo, Low Bros, painted one of the largest pieces we have seen from them yet. We love the sliced basketball eyes on this 8-bit looking character. Did you see our feature with Low Bros in the current October printed issue of Juxtapoz?

Juxtapoz is very excited to announce two very special features to our new October 2013 issue. First, we are introducing a slightly larger format of the print edition, giving you a better look to all the paintings and artwork we show each month in the magazine. Second, we are pleased to have Tom Waits, the icon, enigma, artist, songwriter, actor... hell, he is everything, as the cover of the October issue.

Low Bros and Clemens Behr who all hail from Berlin, are in Lithuania where they have collaborated on a large outdoor installation for the Satta Outside Festival on the Lithuanian coast. Behr who works with basic building and recycled materials brought an interesting new perspective to one of the Los Bros characters.
