Melbourne-born, LA-based Dabs Myla and Spanish-born, NYC-based How & Nosm have teamed up for another nice mural in Hollywood, California, this time with "Art In the Streets" exhibiting artist, RIME. We showed you last week how we stumbled upon How & Nosm painting a large mural in downtown Los Angeles, but we couldn't make it over to watch Dabs Myla add their portion to the building-sized collaborative piece. Andrew Hosner of Thinkspace Gallery just sent us the completed piece, "Cream of the Crop," in pictures. More after the jump . . .

James Jean just opened a solo exhibition, Rebus, at Martha Otero Gallery. After spending over a year working on a body of work, James found fantastic new ways to procrastinate and inspire himself when he needed a break. He let us in on a few tips recently in his Downtown Los Angeles studio, and we recorded them for you to practice at home. Watch after the jump . .

The main reason that we bring this video onto our blog stems from when Juxtapoz was in LA on March 9th, we ran into said musician and friends and they all mentioned that said musician was going to be DJing at Low End Theory where Flying Lotus was also to be attending. And we thinking this was a regular occurence, decided not to attend. We should have. Watch the video after the jump . . .

Juxtapoz stopped by EL MAC and RETNA's new mural on 7th and Park View near downtown Los Angeles yesterday morning on an unseasonably warm day. We tried to catch RETNA and MAC in action, but it was better to sit and shoot some photos and cause the neighbors to stop and check out the mural as well. More views after the jump . . .

Juxtapoz.com is currently in Los Angeles, and yesterday, we spent the day with James Jean, half of the time spent at Martha Otero Gallery as Jean and the Otero staff were putting the finishing touches on Rebus, Jean's new solo exhibition opening Saturday, March 12. And then the day ended on a roof with a hand-flute version of "Yellow." More after the jump . . .

Camille Rose Garcia opens a new solo exhibition, "Snow White and the Black Lagoon" in Los Angeles, California at the Michael Kohn Gallery ths Saturday (March 12), and she sent us a video of her painting for the new show. As we wrote earlier, the "show plays off of the classic Grimm Brothers’ story, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”, with this series of paintings and drawings creating a modern day allegory for our delusional relationship with nature."
