One of the undeniable legends of poster design and cinema, Saul Bass, has a retrospective exhibition, Bass Notes: The Film Posters of Saul Bass, up at Kemistry Gallery in London through March, 17. Having basically created the template to a modern movie poster, Bass' canon is so iconic that your favorite classic movie poster was probably designed by Bass, or someone borrowing his style. London's Sickboy has a solo exhibition, Burning Desire, at Montana Shop & Gallery Lisbon at the moment, curated by Yellow Pants Gallery, also in Lisbon. London-based Jux-contributor Butterfly was at the opening of Works On Paper, Stanley Donwood's new show at Lazarides' The Outsiders space. Must be a busy time for Mr. Donwood, as he is the artist behind the first ever "newspaper" album, as he does all the artwork for Radiohead.
