We were looking at various gallery line-ups for London's Frieze Art Fair that opens Thursday, October 13, and Team Gallery of NYC has one of the best we have seen. You can't go wrong with Cory Arcangel, Slater Bradley, Gardar Eide Einarsson, Massimo Grimaldi, Marc Hundley, Ryan McGinley, Dawn Mellor, David Ratcliff, Davis Rhodes, and Banks Violette.

We spent a lot of time with David Choe and DVS-1 in Stavanger for Nuart over the past week, and when we left them at the crossroads that was London Heathrow Airport, they were off to paint in Lazarides Gallery's The Minotaur group exhibition in the tunnels underneath Waterloo Station. David Choe just sent us some images of the progress.

This is a great concept; Dominic Wilcox creates watch sculptures, where he takes classic appearing time pieces and gives them personality and different time concepts. This series of seven sculptures with the tiny hand-crafted figures attached to the hands, is on display at Dezeen Space in London through October 16.

Ludo "Metamorphosis" @ High Roller Society, London

Paris-based, Ludo, just opened a new solo show at High Roller Society in London, with the lovely Kakfa-esque title, Metamorphosis. For his first solo exhibition in London, Ludo prepared works in scultpure, drawing, and prints. He even did a Beastie Boys' homage.

Bodies in Urban Spaces

Maybe it is the choice of good color, or bright colors, but these project, Bodies in Urban Spaces (from a few years back), is interesting in the contrast of gray urban palettes and bright colored contemporary fashion. And people in odd shapes in odd places.
