This coming week on September 11th, 2014, Chinese artist and invisible man Liu Bolin will open A Colorful World?, an exhibition of new sculptures, photographs, and lightboxes at Klein Sun Gallery in NYC. A Colorful World? is a reference to the countless multicolored advertisements and consumer goods that cloud today's understanding of oppression and injustice. Through lightboxes that speak to ideas of disappearance, detailed painted sculptures, and a continuation of his Hiding in the City series...

Chinese based photographer/fine artist/performance artist/street artist/camouflage king Liu Bolin just opened a new series of works at Scream in London, and our friend Butterfly went to check out the opening. "The Heroic Apparition" is Bolin's first solo show in the UK, another wonderful series of politically themed works based on exploring identity and the position of artist in China.

Famed photography wheat paste artist, JR and Chinese photographer, Liu Bolin, aka “The Invisible Man” recently collaborated on the following wall on Spring St. in Manhattan. JR was completely painted by Bolin in front of his work to appear invisible. Great job! Tonight, March 20, Eli Klein in New York City will open a new exhibition with the internationally renowned Invisible Man, Chinese photographer and "chameleon," Liu Bolin. Lost In Art will present new photographs from both Bolin's Hiding in the City and Hiding in New York series, as well as his recent collaboration with Harper’s Bazaar and fashion giants Gaultier, Lanvin, Missoni, and Valentino.
