Our friend VHILS just opened his first museum show, a substantial body of work, at the EDP Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal... and we have some great shots of the full installation. VHILS has been doing fantastic works in both gallieries and in the streets for years, and has been one of the most innovative street artists working in Europe. The exhibition was curated by João Pinharanda.

AKACorleone just opened a new body of work, "Find Yourself In Chaos," featuring a series of mixed-media, multi-dimensional paintings, sculptures and installations covering the gallery. AKACorleone is a Portuguese illustrator/graphic designer/visual artist who started out as a graffiti writer in the Lisbon underworld... the show is open through March 15, 2014.

Our friends at the UnderDogs in Lisbon, Portugal have been working on public art and street art programs in the city all year, and they just passed along a video of one of our favorite duos, Interesni Kazki. The Ukranian artists spent time in Lisbon working on a mural, and have been captured here in process, and perhaps taking a dip in the Atlantic Ocean.

The wire sculptures of Lisbon artist David Oliveira almost appear to be small ink drawings on top of photos of a gallery. But no, these are actual wire sculptures that appear to be floating. Very cool.

To celebrate their two-year anniversary in their Lisbon, Portugal location, Montana Gallery and Shop invited Spanish artist Aryz (one of our current favorites) to do both a mural and exhibition. The show opened last night, Aryz finished the mural, people were checking out the Aryz feature in Jux, and the crowd was large.

London's Sickboy has a solo exhibition, Burning Desire, at Montana Shop & Gallery Lisbon at the moment, curated by Yellow Pants Gallery, also in Lisbon. Yellow Pants made a nice video of the preparation for the exhibition, and Sickboy made a nice experience to coincide with the artwork. Watch the video after the jump . . .
