Born in Busan, Lee Jin Ju graduated from the Hongik University Department of Oriental Painting and completed a master’s course at its graduate school. Lee depicts dreamy psychological scenes triggered by emotion and memory of pain, sorrow, and negativity in highly complex painted and illustrated works.
