Yoskay Yamamoto’s latest solo exhibition Joke's On Me opened this past Saturday at LaBasse Projects Chinatown location. This new body of work consists of a large collection of sculptures in a variety of mediums; all based on iconic childhood characters. We have grown quite used to seeing the fine artworks of Los Angeles-based artist, that we forgot of the sculpture works of Yoskay Yamamoto. This new exhibition, Joke's On Me, will feature a series of sculptures based on iconic childhood characters, including the Stay-Puff man, Bart Simpson, Hello Kitty and a full collection of other sculptures.

The exhibition will feature a new series of canvas paintings, mixed media compositions and installations, all featuring Houser's use of words, phrases, and signature characters.
